I met Rasik during one of my lowest points in my journey to fight cancer and completed his 6 stage program on building mental resilience. Before meeting him, I was very skeptical of the changes or the impact it can bring. In the first session itself, he broke all my preconceived notions. The best part about Rasik is that he understands really well how the mind works. He not only explains his techniques well but also backs it with his own examples, stories and science. I came to know of Rasik through a friend who is an ISB alumnus. Rasik for me is a god sent angel, I did not know of him - what he does, where is he based out of or what has he gone through in life but all I knew from our very first conversation was that he just wanted to help my brother in his fight with cancer. My brother had gone through a few challenging chemotherapy and had to prepare for his stem cell transplant treatment in a month or so. He is a very practical person who does not necessarily open up easily. I was initially very apprehensive on how he would take this interaction. But all it took to convince him was ONE call with Rasik. One call and that changed his entire perspective. Since then, Rasik has been with him through all his ups and downs and taught him several techniques on how to face situations which makes him anxious. I was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare and deadly bone cancer, in my 20’s. I went through a year long treatment with 17 extensive chemotherapy sessions. Although my cancer got cured, I developed severe side effects from the treament and medications given post-treatment. My heart function reduced, I developed peripheral neuropathy as well as optic neuritis which compromised my eye sight. I lost all hope and became severely depressed. It was at this time, I was introduced to Rasik through my aunt and have been in active touch with him ever since. My conversations with him have changed my view on life, helped me find hope and given me the courage to work on improving my health. Although it will be a tough journey, I am confident that I will recover and get my life back. Thanks to Rasik for being my guide and ray of light during my darkest times
